Shalom International Missionary Training Centre

When Apostle A. Thankachan started  the ministry  in Thiruvellore, there was not many churches. Through the burden of lost soul, Apostle. Thankachan went to every villages & towns, by walk and by bicycle and preached the gospel. And everywhere he went God conformed HIS word by miracles & saved people. So Apostle. Thankachan started church in everyplace he went and when days went by people increased and the work & responsibility became too much. He alone need finish one service and go to other place and do the other services and also the weekly meetings and gospel out reaches, house visiting, bible study etc. And by the Holy Spirit, God encouraged Apostle. Thankachan to share his burden to the believers and train them to do the Lord’s work. That’s how the first Shalom Bible College started in 1988. Training believers to be leaders and soul winners. And God blessed the ministry and helped Apostle. Thankachan to train 100’s of passionate believers to reach the lost. From 2005 God enlarged our vision to reach the north India with the gospel, where the Christian population is very low. 2005 in Jharkhand, 2006 in  Orissa, 2009 in West Bengal, 2010 in Chhattisgarh, 2011 in Nagaland and in 2013 in Andhra Pradesh. Our vision is to plant Shalom Bible college in all 30 states of India. please pray. 

This year God burden us to Start Shalom International Missionary Training Center to train and sent passionate people in the mission field in different parts of the world.  Jesus said in MT 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”  As we see the signs of our Lords coming, JOIN WITH US IN REACHING THE LOST
